Jovan began with web development in late 2015 when he started maintaining existing websites for close friends. Shortly after, his new projects started to include creating static HTML websites for photographers and small businesses. After a couple of web development courses where he gained important skills, he took interest in dynamic content, specifically Joomla CMS.
It wasn't long before he started to write a blog for a music portal, since he was involved in the music industry before. In fact, all of these blog posts were written in WordPress. That's where his story of working with the most popular CMS platform officially begins. Some of Jovan’s first WordPress projects included development of websites for primary schools, tour agencies, music labels, artists, etc.
In the pursuit for further self-development and tougher challenges, Jovan started looking for a long-term job in the industry, which leaders in WordPress themes' development recognized. A position of customer support agent didn't sound like much, but it was a solid starting point. With time, his development skills and management abilities grew rapidly and nine months later, he was offered the position of head of support.
Today, Jovan's working in a leading WordPress themes' development company, managing a team of 15 talented souls. He writes a blog for WPKlik, sharing his experiences. In his spare time, Jovan can be seen in his natural habitat nailed to the TV on race weekends or trying to keep his eyes wide open at 3 a.m., because he's waiting for Jokic of the Nuggets to score another triple-double. He's a husband and father to two of the most beautiful girls on the planet.
